Ten years ago, the activity of Ngilong International Tuburin began thanks to the selling of carved tree ferns from Ambrym Island at a trade show in Noumea. Since then, we have been  continuing to regularly import those ones by full containers and several times a year from Vanuatu. Now, they have become one of our most successful product.

Once considered as memorials whose dimensions could be really impressive in Vanuatu, the carved tree ferns we offer today are available in all sizes and all shapes.

Actually, carving men of our production network have been learning how to adapt their work to the modern world to now offer reproductions of traditional themes as well as brand-new contemporary creations. 

Moreover, besides the traditional shape which so strongly identify the Vanuatu archipelago, once called Tuburin, and more especially Ambrym Island, Ngilong Art Gallery also offers a choice of non-carved tree ferns trunks which are much sought after as orchids or other climbing plants supports. 

So, you will find in stock a large choice of fern trees patterns from 5000 XPF (41 euros) whose size can vary between 50 and 250 cm height.

Since many years, we have been exported carved tree ferns, towards France especially, and for an all-in price of 10 000 XPF (83 euros). In this case, the parcel post do not have to exceed 30 kgs and 1,50 m, packaging included.

As endangered species submitted to the CITES convention, tree ferns from Vanuatu are protected. So, a special clearance has to be delivered to get them re-exported outside from New Caledonia. We automatically get you this permit granted by the DAFE (State Service Direction of Agriculture, Fishing and Environment) in case of exit from New Caledonia.
